Midnight, a new musical based on Elchins "Citizens of Hell" opened at the Union Theatre last night to a great audience response. The work has been developed as an original idea by Debunk theatre, with words by Timothy Knapman and music by Laurence Mark Whyte. Press night will be on Tuesday 11 September and the run will continue until 29 September.
It's been a smooth process with a great team, director Kate Golledge, choreographer Chris Cuming, musical director Harry Haden-Brown, designer Elliot Squire and all associates, technical team and cast.
Dealing with WWII subjects in a distant corner of the former Soviet Union, its topic is no less relevant today. It is a great show that no one should miss.
